Slow Fashion: Upcycling and Hand Printing

We are always excited to share with you things that encourage treading lightly, thinking critically, and being creative. Today we've got a smattering of things to share. First off, a great sounding class being offered at OCAC this week!

We are thrilled to have a couple of new items available for you all. First up is the second round of hand printed, Portland designed fat quarter packs from the Portland Textile Club. This round, the group consists of Alice Rotsztain, Lisa Key and April Alden (some of you may remember from her tenure at Bolt!). Each bundle is a little different.

The other new product is upcycled woven and knit cottons. They are made from denim scraps from jean manufacturers. I was super excited to come across this product, as it really fits our desire to create less waste. The knits are super soft and perfect for apparel. The wovens come in a couple of different weights and would be great for apparel and home dec projects.
