Moss
Moss is a nonbinary person and uses they/them pronouns. They moved to Portland from Missouri in 2013 to go to graduate school at PNCA. Their focus in undergraduate was on large-scale fabric installation and sewn soft sculpture, but of course in the first semester at PNCA they veered off path and found a deep love for performance art and comedy. Moss is so excited to be around sewists and makers, and they love being a part of the gorgeous brainstorm of it all! They hope to learn how to make their own eclectic wardrobe by being inspired through all the cuteness, ideas, and community that comes and goes at Bolt. This community is the best!
Moss makes everything by hand and will try any new craft at least once! They just started tatting on a whim recently! They also knit and crochet obsessively.
When not at Bolt, Moss can be found snuggling a project, their cat Phoenix, and their husband Brandon. They also might be writing on their newest performance piece about their gender journey or doing their participatory stage show about male fragility around Portland!
